A CDADS (Cluster Dive Aerial Delivery System) is a basically a guided air-to-ground, cluster missile system which has a 3 part sequence. AG 8 deactivates the parachute that serves as a drogue chute. AG 1 separates the 4 MIDS (Multi Impact Delivery System) that's connected to the main body of the CDADS. AG 2 (with full throttle) initiates the aerial dive which then releases and launches the cluster of missiles pointed below. The CDADS is meant for a full area coverage while only needing a short pass over the target.
