The Yakovlev Yak-71 (NATO Reporting name: Cadrona) is a Soviet-made short-range narrow-body aircraft derived from the Boeing 737-200. it's powered by a reverse engineered Pratt & Whitney JT8D turbofan engine. This aircraft was introduced in 1973 and its first flight in the USSR in 1976. Its users are Aeroflot, Interflug, LOT, Malev, Air China and the Soviet Air Force.
