SimpleRocket Mk.2 + X10B-2 Experimental Spaceplane
This is my second rocket design, capable of higher speeds and altitudes. The payload is my experimental X10B-2 spaceplane, capable of speeds over 7000mph if used correctly. The vehicle can be operated as follows:
Group 1 ignites the core engine.
Group 2 ignites the boosters.
Group 3 will launch the rocket.
Group 4 drops the fairings.
Group 5 detaches the boosters.
Groups 6 and 7 deploy the payload. Activate group 6 first, allow the payload to stabilise itself, then activate group 7.
VTOL slider is used to give spin stabilisation to the rocket.
Pitch controller adjusts the pitch. Use this only shortly after liftoff before adding spin to the rocket. Less pitch = more altitude, less downrange distance. Experiment with the pitch until you find an ideal trajectory.
To slow down from high speed flight, pull down on pitch and throttle controls simultaneously, this does not work at extreme altitudes, and works best below 100000ft.
Feel free to create and add your own payloads, or make improvements and other alterations to the design.
