Here it is, the third entry to the floatplane series, the Wildcatfish, which was made by both me and @F4f879!
What I did:
- The plane
What he did:
- The floats
Instructions:
For land: The plane doesn't like land.
For water: Trim all the way down. Lift off at 130 to 150 mph.
The plane is literally a Wildcat with heavy floats and other items strapped onto it, so it was significantly slower and less agile. This replica reflects those characteristics. Have fun!

@CRJ900Pilot No, not really, I'm just encapsulated by naval aircraft right now lol
And are you making theater specific planes? @EpicPigster1
Thanks man @EpicPigster1
@CRJ900Pilot OK. Good luck!
I just rounded. So at 12:00 tomorrow I'll start the fuselage. I have a hockey game tomorrow morning @EpicPigster1
@CRJ900Pilot it's actually 9:28 here, so I guess 9:30. I believe that means we are in the same time zone!
Ok. So it's 9:30 here, and it's 7:30 there? @EpicPigster1
@CRJ900Pilot I am Canadian! I live in Toronto, Ontario, which means I am about 2 hours away from both Michigan and New York.
Sounds good! Oh and what state are you in? @EpicPigster1
@CRJ900Pilot OK! I'll get started on the wings once you finish the fuselage!
The wings I guess. I'll do the fuselage and the landing gear @EpicPigster1
@CRJ900Pilot Sure! What parts do you want to build?
We'll start tomorrow? @EpicPigster1
Sure. How about the xp72 and then convert it to a p-47 after? @EpicPigster1
