A recreation of the world's biggest detonated bomb in SimplePlanes! You can just look at it, but you can also play and demonstrate it's monsterous power (since I spawned a Boom-25 a few feet above.) It will be quite laggy, so I recommend low quality settings for mobile users.



Tsar Bomba (Wikipedia)- Also known as the AN602 hydrogen bomb, it was designed and detonated in 1961 by the USSR. It was developed by a group of scientists led by Yulii Borisovich Khariton. With the bomb yielding 50 megatons of TNT, it was easily the most powerful nuclear bomb humans have ever made, with the next most powerful coming in at only 25 megatons. Tsar Bomba weighed 27 metric tons, and measured 8 meters by 2 meters, which meant the airplane used to carry it (Tu-95V release plane) had to be modified, such as the removal of bomb bay doors and fuselage fuel tanks.
