Glock 17
So, this was the hardest successor to make. I took a 1911(also cool check it out) and converted it to a Glock 17, the Glock 17 was designed by Gaston Glock in 1979 in Austria, he ran a fixture and military supplies company, Austria was holding a contest on the new standard issue Pistol for the country. He designed the gen 1 Glock 17 and competed against beretta, steyr and sig sauer and surprisingly won. In North America this unheard of 15 round pistol was seen as a threat due to most of the gun being polymer, and was thought of as a terrorist delight. However it cannot go through airport security as you can easily identify it as a gun by the metal components. However this wore off by the 90s. Today glocks are devoid of stereotypes by how much they are used.
