Target Series!

AI USE ONLY!!

(spawn and let it do the shooties.)

honestly, idk how to feel about this one, so i should tell you what i am now facing...

one of the problems with this damage system is that, the higher the number, the more it does push your stuff around which results in... some stuff.... and especially noticeable with Itsukushima here because her guns are one with a very heavy punch(32cm does carry it's weight in size.)...

speaking of which, sadly enough, i feel like nearly all of my gun-gals(yes, what? they're feminine, they shoot guns, BIG GUNS.) doesn't get noticed that much, which is fair, they're not really good not great ships per say any day, and i put rather a lot of effort to them as i do love them that much... but they don't have any use as of now... so perhaps, maybe just for now... i will probably revert back to the A-III system since i have no use for AI-cannons for ships to fight ships. or perhaps I'll make an anti-air platform ship of sorts. idk...

which also brings me to reclassify my system, so here's the list.

  • A-0 : ships that are lacking in any destructible buoyancy system, nearly all SP Ships but mine are here.
  • A-I : early model of the system, split into two parts, hit-able fuselage which provides buoyancy and unhit-able fuselage which makes up the exterior.
  • A-II : the A-I system, except improvements on the damage model by splitting the middle part into two, resulting in a ship that tanks explosions better.
  • A-III : added detonateable magazine store, split into two types, A-III-A is derived from A-II system(for large ships), A-III-B is derived from A-I system(for small ships)
  • A-IV : added AI-capable Cannons, A-IV-A and A-IV-B is same as the A-III one.

derivatives, and other stuff that is different from this shall be referred to as,

  • A-Sub : for submarines
  • A-Flak : for Anti-air purposes, with the system put in parentheses as to what Buoyancy System it is.

that is all for now.
and i guess i payed to much attention to function and made the hull look hideous... trust me, it looks damn good actually, smooth... but sadly you gotta do what you gotta do... sigh..... might revert back to my old style of building tbh.... this new one kinda... idk, it's just not smooth.. my problem i guess is just... i don't work with everyone else's established basic system... they have smooth hull... sighhhhhhh

notes : it's just... idk, maybe because I'm tired(it's like 1am here), maybe because I'm sad that no one likes small ships that much, and hey, more power to them, that's natural anyway, a lot things need be said be said that Itsukushima isn't a great ship overall either... but that's that. that is all for now.

Itsukushima was the lead ship in the Matsushima class of protected cruisers of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Like her sister ships, (Matsushima and Hashidate) the name Itsukushima comes from one of the traditional Three Views of Japan, in this case, the Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima prefecture on the Seto Inland Sea, home to a famous Shinto shrine dedicated to the goddess Benzaiten.

@Monarchii I love the ships that have guns, ships without them feel empty. Also, I would like a variant of the HMS Inflexible with working guns, that seems like its whole thing :)

@Monarchii HE (High Explosive) is funny

@VTPADELTA HE is weird in Simpleplanes, to explain it simply... Basic(a.k.a AP) deals physical damage in form of HP, HE... deals psychology damage that the fuselages disconnects themself out of shame, upping the health doesn't matter either since it seems like there's an Explosive Resistance cap.. so per technically, Itsuku-sushi-ma is better of getting hit with AP, hell, IRL too is the same cause that shit would overpenetrate, such is the case with Warspite and Fritz X, "tanked" a lot while it's actually per technically overpenetrated, compare it to Roma which is the perfect size to hit a Fritz X in one go

@VTPADELTA fair, compared to typical ships though, my system is a bit better at tanking missiles, not impervious, but generally better, 0.2-0.4 depending on some stuff

The last thing this ship sees is a aircraft approaching at mach 5 with a anti-ship missile on the scale of a normal cheese package.

no idea what to say at all, great build.
