Veteran Mystic
An old Flanker flown by veteran fighter pilot, instructor, and shaman of the Mictlan tribe, Citlali. Better know by her moniker and callsign "Itztli", or "Granny Itztli".
This aircraft had seen much combat in the Night Wars of Natlan. It's supreme maneuverability, weapon systems, and integrated electronic warfare modules earned Citlali much stripes in the frontline's most intense battles, and brought her quite a legendary reputation that lasts until the present day.
Citlali had also trained generations of Mictlan's fighter pilots; of which only a handful would earn her genuine approval, but never get to truly best her even in a simulated combat scenario.
Much of these trainees would lose their wings and outright give up when pitted against her for their final tests.
Though rarely seen airborne nowadays, a sight of her taking to the skies is guaranteed a bad omen for enemies and allies alike. Her elite combat pilotage had been forged in the fires of war; and those most unfortunate get to have a taste of her skill firsthand.

The Masters of the Night Wind, or Mictlan tribe, is based off of Indonesia and Native American culture. She's either of them since the basis for her tribe are well balanced together.
Hence, why I used the SKM variant of the Su-27.

More of a metaphorical sense.
They're unfit to be fighters cause they lose to Citlali. And their final test is to see if they can best her in a dogfight.
how did trainees lose their wings?do they quit or their wings snap due to intense G-forces?
