Freive Three is one of eight covert operations aircraft operated by No.1 Special Attack Squadron. The aircraft contains various sensors and electronic warfare equipment in the rear fuselage and has a "snorkel" which permits the engine to run submerged for short periods.

The aircraft was deployed during a commando raid on the Snowstone vice-president's mansion, dropping two commandos from her "grab-bars" onto the roof. Beforehand Freive Three had made several reconnaissance missions over the island.

Over her lifetime Freive Three has been deployed on many occasions, but the next mission of note came during the Consador invasion of Ardonia. Freive Three was a member of a detachment of two Gloster Freives and a HXE-112 helicopter on loan from the SWAF. This operation required extreme take-off performance, a very short landing run and long-range, so both Freives were fitted with external drop tanks, JATO gear, four bladed propellers and a large braking parachute.

The detachment made two attempts of the life of the Consador president, wounding him after shooting up his staff car and also making a raid on the Consador Military Headquarters. During this raid Freive Three destroyed a troop column coming to reinforce the building and, using her JATO gear and specially fitted breaking parachute, rescued three marines from the roof of the building.

After the invasion the detachment remained behind enemy lines, striking at any opportunity and operating out of a concealed airstrip in the vast forests. Whilst performing these dangerous operations she shot down a Consador Super Puma transport helicopter, making her the first Freive to score an air to air victory. Once the liberation began the detachment flew to Saltwater Navy ships off the coast. On return to NovrdLisch Freive Three was returned to standard configuration.
