The Me 262 A-1a Schwalbe was one of the first jets ever flown in combat. The plane’s main use was as a bomber interceptor. It was credited with twelve allied bombers downed during World War II. It also downed one fighter. The Me 262 A-1a finished the war with a 4:1 kill to loss ratio. Enjoy my recreation on a 1:1 scale in Simple Planes. N.B. Take off on 30% throttle.
