The AC-49 is a Bomford Air Force Ranged Support Gunship capable of pummeling enemies from high altitudes with good accuracy and amazing suppressive fire.

Developed on the C-49 FreightFox, the Warfox has almost the same maneuverability with a very slight reduction in speed, which is a fair trade off for the amount of weapons onboard. Weapons include:

• 150mm gun in nose with 1000 rounds
• 4x 50mm guns in belly gunner position (Or bulge position, if your that kind of person) with 4000 rounds in total
• 28 rockets in 4 pods; 2 on each wing
• 2x CAM R-900 chain guns; one in each wing support
• 4x CAM-29 machine guns mounted in the rear
• 8x 250 pound bombs; 4 on each wing
• Lots of Chaff and flares (easily capable of slowing your game)

The purpose of the belly gunner is so it can be rotated downwards to shoot almost directly below, or rotated to the guns-forward position for concentrated fire and normal flight. Tail gunner is self explanatory, being used for defending your 6. Nose gunner, bombs, rockets and Chain guns are for ground support. The chain guns can also be used for defending your 12, even though by this point you will probably be wondering “why are we still here?”, as this plane is not meant to be close in. Stay up at high altitudes, dive in to drop bombs and attack the target, then get back up to altitude. If you can’t outfly anything fired at you, (which you probably won’t) the chaff and flare system has you covered.

Controls:
VTOL- gun elevation for belly gunner
AG1- Inflight navigational “Navi” lights
AG2- activate nose gunner position
AG3- Activate belly gunner position
