Since Steampunk appears to be the theme of the month, I decided to build my own steampunk style airship.
I present to you, The Prodigy. She's a light airship intended for exploration and scout roles. She boasts a fair number of cannon behind those closed ports, and is powered by two, large, radial steam-driven piston engines.
When taking off, start on the water and move the VTOL slider up about 1/8th, then power up to 100. She'll take off on her own, and as soon as she's off the water, begin trimming the VTOL down until she level's off.
For tootling around on the water, raise the VTOL to full up, then throttle to around 20%. Use a combination of banking and rudder to steer.
She's not as grand as some of the other airships posted, but she's mine and I love her :D
Also, apparently she's Austrian, because I liked that color combination for the flag.
HAPPY FLYING!
