The us navy and the british Fleet Air Arm ordered thousands of these air modified B-24 Liberator. With the ball territ removed, a nose turret added, and less armor this aircraft was built to patrol the pacific and the atlantic for seaborn threats. Infact 18000 B-24s (navy and army) were manufactured, more then aney outher U.S produced in ww2. well thats it... one more thing the mane landing gear are retracted using the vetol slider. Have fun
