The story of the A350 at China:

Moving back to August 8, 2018, in Toulouse, France, two A350s took off and headed towards China.

This is the first time since the commercial debut of the A350 on January 15, 2015 that Airbus, the latest remote aircraft model, has been delivered to China's civil aviation industry and serves the world's second largest civil aviation market.

In the past five years, a total of 72 A350s have been delivered to China, of which 68 are currently active in the production and operation line of summer transportation. The A350 fleet of mainland Chinese airlines has executed approximately 109000 flights and transported over 33.87 million passengers.

On August 14, 2018, Air China's newly introduced Airbus A350-900 successfully completed its first flight. When CA1557 successfully landed at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport from Beijing, the airport warmly welcomed the flight with a water gate ceremony. The all-new Airbus A350-900 from Air China provides passengers with a more comfortable, quiet, and efficient flight experience. With new models, products, and experiences, the inaugural flight carries the dreams of over 300 passengers and successfully landed.

The design concept and positioning of the Airbus A350 aircraft are very consistent with the development strategy of Air China. The introduction of the A350 is also an important support for Air China to strengthen international hub construction, improve global network layout, and enhance international competitiveness.
