[DISCLAIMER]
As some of may have known, I have had some serious health problems in the last months.
This did not allow me to dedicate my time and efforts in SP. This jet was
scheduled to be uploaded shortly after the T-12A, to give a choice for
a weaponized variant of the latter. So here it is.

The Vento, is a military jet trainer and light attack aircraft. Even though it's based entirely on the T-12A Scirocco , it has some significant differences, such as the addition of 6 underwing hardpoints, and an on board 23mm Autocannon.

Thanks to Thecatbaron , belugasub , BogdanX, and Freerider2142 for helping me during the design and building process of this aircraft line, and a special thanks to ChiChiWerx for extensive feedback and testing

The AT-12B has been designed with a main close air support capability, equipped to perform both light fighter and fighter-bomber roles.
This aircraft carries a single 23mm cannon, mounted in a dedicated slot in the fuselage, while a total of six underwing hard points can accommodate up to 1,815 kilograms (4,000 lb) of external stores. It has been adapted to be armed with various munitions, such as the Sidewinder and in this loadout, the AA-1IR Aspide air-to-air missiles, and various laser-guided bombs and rockets.

- Realistic flight model and performances
- Realistic Working Landing, Formation and Navigation Lights
- Nose wheel turn reduces as the speed increases
- Recreated AoA, Flaps and Landing Gears derivating drag
- Realistic Cannon Recoil

- 2 x 500 lb Multipurpose Bomb

- 2 x AA-1IR Aspide Infrared Homing Missiles

(By having the same flight model, the instructions are the same as in the T-12A)

This aircraft doesn't require any particular skills or attention. It's designed to be easy to fly, and most importantly, fun to use.
Flaps can be deployed in 2 fixed position, Take-off, and Approach.
To retract Landing Gears, press AG1, then Landing Gear. Then press again AG1 to close the bay doors, and lock the Landing Gears in place.

-AG-1 Landing Gear Lock
-AG-2 Air brake
-AG-3 Jettinson Drop Tanks
-AG-7 Formation Lights
-AG-8 Turn On/Off all lights
-Trim To Trim the aircraft
-VTOL Extend Flaps (50% Down for Takeoff, 100% for Approach)

[REMEMBER!] Stall Speed: 75kts (Full Flaps Down)

Takeoff procedure:
  • Flaps set to Takeoff (50%).
  • Throttle at 100%.
  • Use Yaw gently to correct eventual deviations. Nose wheel turn reduces as the speed increases
  • Once reached 170kts, start to gently pull the nose of the aircraft up.
  • Retract Landing Gear and press AG-1.
  • To lock the landing gears in place, press AG-1 one more time.
  • Retract flaps as soon as the aircraft is airborne.
Landing procedure:
  • Decrease or increase Throttle if necessary.
  • Extend flaps full down below 150 kts. Set the Trim all the way up in the process.
  • Maintain a speed of around 135 kts during approach. Power approx. 15%
  • Decrease power if needed, or use AG-2 to deploy the ventral air brake.
  • Cut off Throttle upon touchdown.
  • Use breaks to slow the aircraft down, until it stops.

[CAUTION!] Spawning in an Air Location while already Airborne could result in
a flat spin. To recover from it, Yaw and Roll in the opposite direction.

    @FairFireFight thank you very much!
    .
I actually well know both your T-2 and your F-104G , I studied your bay doors in detail :)
I didn't use your technique as on the T-2 because it lacked the actual space to do so in the AT-12B

I love this thing , Very Original "Buff" Looks to it , despite the "stingy" roll and the bombs moving with G forces , it is spotlight worthy :)

P.S. Check my T-2 , the build isn't that good , but the LG has a trick to make synced LG doors

@Lancelot20021230 hey man! Thank you, and that's a good question!
    .
I have built a couple full real cockpits in some past builds, such as in the Ki-115, or the Dardo Attack Helicopter.
And I really enjoyed building them, but when it comes to fictional and "concept like" builds like this I prefer to keep it simple and traditional, to also save a bit on the part count.

I'm a fan of yours and I have a question and I hope to get it answered why don't you build a hollow cockpit?

    @Hedero don't worry, I'm feeling better now.
    .
I had to undergo two surgeries to my lower abdomen, but I'm having some complications, and the pain hasn't completely disappeard yet.
    .
It is nothing really serious, this was a joke compared to other surgeries I had in the past.
