Auto Credit Based on zap210's My Fastest Car
I downloaded Zap210's "My fastest car" and the belt system got me wondering if I could adopt it for tank tracks/treads. I tinkered for a while and this is what I have come up with. This is simply a proof of concept, not a finished vehicle by any stretch... there are fair better designers than me so hopefully someone will adopt the idea! Forward only, AG1 to detach sidewheels (had to add these otherwise it would blow up instantly) AG2 for jetpowered prop shafts and VTOL to adjust the track tension (+75% is about right but you can tweak to your liking) I've managed to get it up to 22mph!

@BeryllCorp Ahhhhh ok... well to be honest I think this has greater potential as a more realistic looking and operating track. The one you've linked me to is impressive in so much as it works, but it's clunky as hell in my opinion!
I look forward at what you can do with this... and

Just so you know. tank tracks are not a concept anymore. @SpiritusRaptor made the first tank with working tracks which was later upgraded into his M1 Tank. and just recently @BoxGlow uploaded a tracked Wall-e
