Maxair Hummer 150
I know the suspension is jiggly. Maybe I will post an update later... Anyway:
The Maxair Hummer was an ultralight aircraft developed in the United States in the late 1970s. An extremely minimalist design, the main structural element of the aircraft was a length of 5-inch aluminium irrigation pipe. At one end of this pipe was a seat for a pilot, and at the other, a V-tail. Behind the pilot's seat, an aluminium truss structure supported a fabric parasol wing, which was further braced with wires to another truss element that served as a kingpost above it. The engine was mounted pusher-wise at the rear of the wing truss, the length of the mounting to be selected by the builder to balance the weight of the pilot.
This particular plane has an upgraded engine, from the original 20 hp motor, to a horizontally-opposed twin-cylinder which produces 150 bhp (haha I know), increasing the plane's top speed from 50 mph to around 115 mph.
Flight controls are standard.
No AG controls.
Happy flying! :)

@AWESOMENESS360
I thought he came back!
I don’t care that you posted this almost 2 years ago, I’m still upvoting and spotlighting this because it’s easily the most fun-to-fly Ultralight I’ve flown here in a while!
@Dene 谢谢!
这个悬架太棒了~
Yeah. I had it dialed in pretty good I thought, then I decided it was too slow, so I added power, and now I think I shoulda left it the way it was haha. Oh well. You’re right it’s pretty tricky trying to get the speeds right. @Mustang51
Yeah I noticed that but I also know how hard it is to get realistic speeds in this game @Hyattorama
@Chancey21 thanks for the spotlight! Do you have any thoughts? I guess maybe it’s too fast and I couldn’t figure out how to make the suspension less jiggly...
Thank you!! :) :) @Fishy26
Oh ok, that’s good, thanks man! @GenericWhiteGuy
Thanks buddy! :) it’s probably a bit too fast but I think it turned out fairly well @Mustang51
Definetly one of the most agile planes i have ever used. Yaw works really well.
Hey! A fun and cool plane as always. And the LG jigglyness is completely fine.
Keep it up!
Absolutely fantastic! Adding the design to the wings was a great idea too. Definitely my favourite light aircraft on SP. Nice work man
@Hyattorama NP!
Thanks man!!! :) :) @MAHADI
Idk something changed when I scaled the plane down and they seem floppier, even at 5000%, so I dunno it seems like something weird’s going on... @ThePrototype
Higher than 5000%? Haha :/@ThePrototype
Cool wings and cute nose! GOOD WORK!
Try a higher strength for the shock
Hmmm, yeah. Ok. I’ll post an updated version later. As soon as I can figure out how to get the suspension less jiggly haha @ThePrototype
Haha. Hmmm. I never tested it on low physics haha. Obviously. @randomusername
A tad fast, I would say try to get the cruising speed around 50mph@Hyattorama
Wow jeez. That’s a really great compliment. Thank you very very much :) :). Do you think it’s too fast/powerful? @ThePrototype
Also, this might be favorite build on the site @Hyattorama
Yes it is :) @Hyattorama
