El Avro York, un transporte diseñado y construido sobre los componentes del bombardero Avro lancaster. Notablemente diferente de su predecesor, por la presencia de un espacioso fuselaje de carga y un tercer timón vertical.
Fue usado en el puente aéreo de Berlin y operado por numerosas aerolíneas como avión de pasajero y carga.
Los ultimos York's dejaron el servicio en 1964.
