M120A1 Interceptor air defense system
The M120A1 Interceptor is an air defense system armed with 39 MIM-120B surface-launched advanced medium-range air to air missiles (XML-modded Interceptor missiles). Each SL-AMRAAM has a maximum range of 21 nautical miles (~24 statute miles/~39 kilometers).
The 39 SL-AMRAAMs are arranged in groups of three launchers each with 13 SL-AMRAAMs—the rearmost, trailer-mounted SL-AMRAAM launchers are linked together as one group.
Operator's manual:
AG1: Raises and arms forwardmost SL-AMRAAM launcher; vertical launch. Deactivate AG1 to lower and disarm the forward launcher.
AG2: Arms the two trailer-mounted SL-AMRAAM launchers. AG2 trim (right slider) controls elevation and has a maximum elevation of 50 degrees. AG2 VTOL (left slider) controls azimuth and has a maximum turn of 90 degrees.
AG5: Activates the radar. The radar system has an XML-modified Inferno embedded in it for target information purposes so the operator does not accidentally lock onto a friendly aircraft. Remove the missile if you choose to equip it with surface attack Infernos.
AG6: Arms flares
AG8: Arms chaff (on by default)
Throttle: The usual. For best results, do not exceed 20 percent throttle.
Yaw provides steering.
