Aerial Gunboat - Pinguin
[ Pinguin ]
|[ Airship #null-1 ]|
Designed and built around a new type of weapon, Pinguin is uniquely enough, a proper small gunboat in its own right unlike most experimental weapon platforms such as the Liezer of the Liebherwesserien Joint Aerial Navy, she is armed with one single 8.8cm K-Länge gun battery on the fore section of the deck, the Pinguin's armament was not only it's gun however, she is also equipped with two rocket launchers on the bow, designed to be a platform to test the viability of a large-caliber rocket-propelled projectile dubbed as Antenne-Raketentorpedo D3a or A-Rt D3a, Pinguin can carry 10 A-Rts including two loaded in the launchers, early testing of the weapon yielded unfavorable results, as both the reliability issue and the nature of the weapon itself is not yet refined for military use and although it is a powerful weapon in its own right, Pinguin was now a discontinued venture and was put on store indefinitely, it does however caught the eye of a certain pirate group...

{ An aimless project }
I had not actually thought of anything while building this one, mainly, the idea is and had been a near replica of the Penguin's Submarine, but with a dieselpunk overhaul and turning it into an airship, it looks like a wonderful idea at first, but further thinking had made it not applicable especially with the idea of what I had planned with my world, a separate forum will be provided if interested, but the gist of it is, this airship doesn't exist in the world of mine since it possesses a technology that might break the gun-reliant ideology of the world, so it would delight me if you thought of this only as a research material further down the line for the Modular Airship Engine, as so far, the sample size for the engine is only seven(including Pinguin), with one of it for personal use, two of it is still an ongoing project, and the last four being Leontine, Honshai, Innite, and Pinguin, that is all.

@DatFiat126Guy19 no, a close friend though..
@Monarchii this you?
You know, i've done a long winded discussion with Tsuchiisan long ago about torpedoes and missiles in his skyship lore, even to this day, now that im making my own story about them, im still unsure how to implement them myself despite already having designs armed with torpedoes
.
Besides that, making the rocket a powerful but unwieldy and impractical weapon could be your solution, it forces a ship to be designed around said rocket instead of the reverse, and also limits its uses to a very small number, purpose built vessels, a highly specific niche if you will

Me sorprende que para ser de tus primeras creaciones estén tan bien echas, fuera del tema de que todas mueren de 1 disparo por los cañones, claro, aun asi me gustan bastante y tengo curiosidad de saber como seria un "acorazado"

@Samfpanzer air works differently than water, and bigger ships can go higher compared to small ships, however, at the same time, smaller nimble airships are also harder to hit, the idea is that this would hit, evade, hit, repeat, it can also destroy larger airships with it's aerial torpedo, although limited to practically point blank.
the Axis Anchor is for when you overestimate your turn, can't stop fast enough, or want to stop completely in place, it is a very effective emergency brake for when such occasion materializes
I’m guessing that it works by hiding in the clouds and when I hit AG7 it stop move so quickly and effectively I thought my game crashed
