Do 335 Pfeil-Gun

5,434 CDRxavier  5.3 years ago

Experimental gun engine platform. 2 x 3 cylinder per engine.
The wings on the propellers are modded by a unknown person to be physically enlarged by a unknown percent, so this plane behaves crazily near (not just in, but near) water, so even the USS Tiny (was so small) can't do it. Wright airport and The USS Beast is able to handle it.

Controls are rather ... unintuitive.
Because the gun engines are able to rotate in only one direction when powered, there is no need for fuss when talking about the propeller pitch directions. I set them to Throttle. VTOL is for the flaps, and the plane mostly takes off at around 100 mph. I think it did 150 mph maximum? but that's relatively irrelevant.

Pull back on the stick gently!

you don't want to wreck the rear propeller (uncomfortable large, yes I know that)
If you feel like you have a alarming tendency to do so, add some stuff beneath the rear vertical stabilizer.
