The Kelsey Class Dreadnought, built during the early 90's by the American moon colony AMB 2. The Dreadnought is the oldest, yet most used ship class, armed with 200 heavy laser cannons as fighter defense, and for light planet bombardment. The ship also carries a "Major" laser cannon, capible of incinerating entire fleets. The downside of the cannon is that is drains the main power supply from the Strange matter core, and the singularity engine. The more recent versions have type 11 shields, able the withstand the heat of a sun for a month at most, just a mile from the surface of said sun. The class was integrated into the Normatican Space Force during the early 2000's due to the "Friendly Forces act", relinquishing American control of all three moon colonies, and all space craft, to the Normatican Empire. The most notable actions the Kelsey Class witnessed were the discovery of Trans Oceania, the current capital planet of the Normatican Empire, and defense of the planet from the "Unknown Invaders".
