Twin Prop But Heavily Modified
This is not my first plane yet it is the first plane I have shared because many of my planes I have built can’t fly or are just too uncontrollable for the not trained. Not based of of anything in real life and as you can tell, heavily modified. With 6 T3000 propellers it has enough power to get off of the ground and maybe tow another of itself if I made a glider version. (I may make that) The wings along with the propeller set up accounts for about 58% of the mass, that means only about 40% of the mass is the fuselage so you might think, “What is 60% of the mass doing in the wings?!” And I am there also, I don’t care enough to make them lighter without changing the shape, also they are empty so no fuel to remove. Take off at 100% and you can glide around at 20%. When going in for a landing do 10% and 5% about 10 seconds from touchdown. It can get up to about 680 mph before the propellers really can’t do much more. There is no need to add air brakes as with 30 wheels it can stop just fine. When landing and slowing down the back gear comes up, that is 100% normal, and when you come to a nice stop or let off of the brakes it should come down and then you can turn with roll. Taxi at whatever speed you like and do whatever you’d like. With 33.3 lbs/ft2 of wing loading, you should expect to start to lift off at ~200+ mph although you could take off at a slower speed if you used the elevators. The bottom bar you see in the screenshot is there to keep the wings under control and conects engine 3 to engine 4. If you want to move the wings move the cone and then remove a block to sever the connection, from there you can move whichever wing as you’d like. Once you’re finished you can just mirror and replace the block and cone. I hope you enjoy this plane as much as I have enjoyed building it.
