The Wright Navy's request for proposal for a supersonic carrier based fighter with the capability to use radar missiles led to many designs, and it eventually culminated in the Gator II, a massive rework of the original fighter that saw limited use due to its many shortcomings. The maneuverability, energy retention and raw engine power consistently gave Maywar's fighters a run for their money, although the flaps and variable incidence wings allowed for unique fighting styles among some pilots such as the "Black Bear" and "Gin Kazuma". It proved itself time and time again and would go on to have a long and varied career. It would see fierce battles in Area 44 in the Maywar Civil War and the one of many wars in Krakabloa within the region dubbed "Pig Alley". It earned its name due to the low intake position that could possibly snatch you quick as a gator. Operation Manual: VTOL down for flaps, down past 80% to angle wing, up to fold wings. Activation groups: 1 to lower arrestor hook, 2 to jettison fuel tanks, 3 to activate refuelling probe, 4 to jettison Reaper Fox 1 missiles, 8 to arm missiles.
