[CLOSED] Polar Plane Challenge
The contest has ended. The results are in!
1st place: @spefyjerbf
2nd place: @FrankieB
3rd place: @highpreformanceplanes
Thanks to everyone who participated!
Your challenge is to build a plane for use round the North & South poles.
Rules: It must be capable of taking off and landing on a runway, and it must have something for landing on snow (like the skis on my example plane). It can be fictional or a replica, propellor or jet. No modded parts allowed. Deadline for entries is March 7th.
Judging: I will be judging based on how well the plane flies, how effective I think the snow landing solution would be and overall appearance and design.
Prizes: First place gets eight upvotes on their planes (I'll choose the ones to upvote), second place gets five, third place gets two. Any other entries I like will get an upvote as well.

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED. JUDGING IS IN PROGRESS.
@spefyjerbf Glad you enjoyed the challenge, thank you for your entry.
I just uploaded my entry as a succesor. I figured that you could use a few points. Great challenge, too. It was very fun.
@spefyjerbf It doesn't have to be a successor, just post a link. @Pauciloquent No modded parts for performance, you can use them for aesthetics if you wish. @LightbulbAircraftConglomerate Yes, that's no problem, just post a link to the revised version.
@Geekpride I had did a last minute change to the landing gear setup of my B-18 and I was hoping if I could submit the revised version to be judged.
No modded parts? Do you mean for preformens or also astetics?
Does my entry have to be a successor? (I tried to send this a few days ago, but something went wrong.)
My entry is done!
@Geekpride ok thanks, I was going to use it for a radar dish!
@FrankieB Retractable skis are fine. You can't use the rotator for anything functional that will help the plane fly, but you can use it for looks - like if you want to have a rotating radar dish or something.
Would it be okay if I used a modded forever spinning rotator?
And can the skiis be retractable?
I'm gonna make a 747 with snow skis but it might be something else idk yet
Here is mine, simple and nice

@Geekpride
Are modded stuff allowed like engines, or fuel blocks or off limits?
My entry
@Supercraft888 Yes, skis can have retractable wheels. Be as imaginative as you like. @Dredex Thanks for your submission. @XjayIndustrys Of course you can be in - I'm not putting a limit on the number of entries. @spefyjerbf No, it doesn't have to be a successor as long as you provide a link to it.
Do I have to make my entry a successor?
Can I be in can I be in please please pleaaaasss?
I'm in
I'm in too!
