Callworth

story

In mid 2017 the Callworth CEO was looking to expand from the endurance racing world, and decided to try out the world of Baja racing. The program was paused in favor of entering the World Rally Cross championship, and after the sucess of the CL-23 Dirt Kicker the program was greenlit and the chassis was created. The first chassis as this, and was used in the Dakar rally in 2019. The truck saw mild success, but the drivers quickly found that it was not stable in high-speed turns and was prone to flips. The next iteration would fix this issue which came out at the tail end of 2020.

Pitch and roll for movement

Builders note: i havent touched this thing in well over 6 months so i just wanted to get rid of it. The front suspension is a bit weird, but I didnt know exactly how to fix it. I wish the spring piece had more tuneability to the bumper and rebound but alas. Tried for well over 5 hours but couldn't get it to work the way i want. The rear suspension is what im most proud of, it came out amazing and works exactly how you want it. Overall its a pretty ok car considering i didnt use any blueprints, so overall im pleased with the result. Enjoy!
