AG-1 : turret

The HK-202 Börl was a German light bomber in operation in 1941, and 1,892 were built.

History

In 1940 the RLM requested the design of a fast bomber to attack Britain after the French invasion

HK company got the offer and shared the design even though it was rejected at that time because the bomber design didn't have Bombardier
This aircraft has a remote controlled turret and the pilot will shoot using a kind of telescope and this requires quite a long training

HK 202 at the airport

war

Aircraft have been deployed on various fronts such as the Operation Barbarossa ,North African campaign And some bombings to London
An HK-202 plane crashes and explodes in midair after being hit by an AA while trying to Attack Merchant

Trouble

The plane is very small Maybe the Ju-88 is bigger than this plane, the cockpit is narrow and obstructs visibility, the plane often sinks, Remote control Turret error, etc.

Post war

After the war the plane was converted into a mail plane, cargo and others
