Here is an oddity from the war years. The Arsenal-Delanne 10-C2 was an unusual-appearing general-purpose French fighter protoype which appeared shortly before the start of the Second World War. Its tandem-wing concept was tested with the Delanne 20 light two-seat aircraft and was originally planned as yet another lightweight fighter. But shortly after the German takeover of the factory testing the plane, the prototype was taken to Germany for further testing, though it was never seen again.
