U-505 - Type IX Submarine Remake
U-505
Type IX Submarine
Special thanks to MisterT and 11qazxc for assistance with the Hydrophone FT.
And a Special thanks to Edensk for the FT for the compass.
For the longest time I thought of making a new Type IX. The original is just obsolete to my standards now. So I decided to make a new version with everything I've learned to now alongside a couple new ideas. More detail, better workings (including a gun that updates haven't broken), a better sub.
I'd have possibly made a full interior, but there simply wasn't the room with the ballast engines and I saw fit only to include the rooms that would serve some direct function. Thus I chose to give this the equivalent to a simply detailed yet functional cockpit on a plane build, alongside a functional hydrophone.
I'm hoping this can someday surpass the original.
