Damocles - Ground attacker

The main purpose of this bomber is to b able to do attack runs at slow speeds or even in hover mode for more precision. To be honest I struggle myself at stabilizing the plane right above targets so...it's not a full success. But I still like the concept and I thought I'd share it anyway..
The idea is to have seperate propulsion units and a mobile cockpit for aiming downwards.
A set of fixed vertical nozzles will propel the plane up (controlled with the trim). Then 2 sets of jets will push the plane forward or slow it down. Use AG7 to activate those engines. The throttle will power the forward engine, the brake will trigger the rear engines. Sadly the plane doesn't fly backwards. VTOL controls the cockpit and bomb wings controls. To unleash your fury, activate AG3 to orient the bombs, AG2 will fire 4 missiles at once, and AG4 all the bombs at once. You also have a machine gun, rockets and you can fire all these weapons conventionally. Once the boms are all away, you can dispose of their mount with AG5.

Alternatively, just hover over your enemies and activates the lights with AG1 to scare the shit out of them.

-AG1 : Extra lights
-AG2 : (4x) Inferno missiles fire
-AG3 : Bomb mount pitch
-AG4 : Drop all bombs (6)
-AG5 : Detach bomb mount
-AG6 : Parachutes it case you lose control
-AG7 : Front and rear jets
-AG8 : Reaction Control Nozzles

Take-off : You can try purely vertical take-off but for balancing reasons, it's just easier to first gain some forward speed (AG7, throttle 40% to 120 mph) before pushing the trim fully up. Leave trim at about 90% for hovering, 75% for cruising flight.

As for the landing, a purely vertical alnding also seems out of the question. but you can simply land a slow speed with the trim at 60%.
