Northrop F-5E Tiger II - Remastered
A light fighter of the 1950s upgraded.
Upvotes are appreciated!
Weapon Systems:
AIM-9J Sidewinder - x2 Short Range Air to Air IR missile
AGM-65B Maverick - x2 Medium Range TV Guided Air to Ground missile
Short History of the Aircraft:
In the 1950s a light fighter program was developed in private by Northrop, the plan was to have a small, light, fast and highly aerodynamic fighter, built around a twin rear engine afterburning set up. This was to be a low cost, low maintenance equivalent of the much larger, heavier F-4 Phantom II. The airframe first flew in 1959 and serviced in 1962, at the time the US did not have any other light fighter in service. In the late 1960s emphasis was put on light fighters leading to the much more upgraded F-5E which flew in 1972 and would later go on to inspire the creation of the F-16A Fighting Falcon.
Thank you all for the support, Its been a while since I last posted but I hope to create new posts soon-ish, I live a very busy life, so I dont get much time on SP anymore.
Additional Notes:
This airframe has a less complicated start up allowing for more users to easily fly it, I do have a more complex start up version in the works and as well as a low part version so mobile users can rejoice!
Thank you all, until next time.

What RCP said, also it's why click bait is a thing

@Majakalona when showing something to other people, presentation is everything.
People have a limited amount of time to look at builds, so they tend to click the most eye-catching ones. Hence builds with good thumbnails are often the most popular.
This applies to not just SimplePlanes, but to real life. You’d obviously buy something from a company that has the best ads.
@ziggythefrogman Soon.
