"The Sky Monster"

ABOUT THIS PLANE:

The ACH-164 Gryffin is the militarized version of the Fae-12 Rotodyne and my super helicopter based on the Rotodyne. I went for the Rotodyne Design because I wanted something unique from the ordinary helicopter designs. Also, I wanted to build an original craft that participates in the WW2 Dogfight Combat Mission. If you like, to try the ACH-164 for that particular mission, you only have to remove the missiles and the thrust brake (jet engine) on the cabin roof just ahead of the helicopter rotor housing.

The purpose of the jet engine is for the aircraft to hover at 20 mph for operations like carrier landing, and the reason this build can't stay stationary is complex. Funky Trees is involved in something like that work. Therefore, using the magnet for cargo hook operations is very difficult.

Moreover, the cockpit interior of this aircraft is original, simple, and only equipped with the default parts in the Cockpit Interior section with only a few additions, like the radar map and auto-pilot.

It was fun building the Gryffin, and I had fun playing it, and I hope you do too!

Once again, Thanks for the Gold!

...Alright, which one of you arthritic blockheads decided to DNA splice a V-22 and a Ka-52 under a radiation chamber?
