Title : Pe - 8
(other names :airplane 42, ANT - 42, TB - 7)
Type : Strategic bamber.
Appeal
After 20 hours of sweat, blood, burnt chairs and broken screens (exaggerating), this plane was still built. I suffered with him for a long time, because my game crashed several times and many, many hours of progress (like the construction itself) flew to such distant lands where no one would find them. Please don't let my nerves go to waste and if you like the plane, put upvote, please.
Short description
Pe-8 - Soviet four-engined long-range heavy bomber (sometimes classified as strategic) during World War II.
I tried to make it as similar as possible, but still it is not an exact copy. I did it on a 1: 1 scale, but it turned out to be slightly larger. There are also some minor differences, but in principle, it does not affect the appearance of the aircraft.
Some historical facts
(I will not go into the whole story here. If you're interested, take a look at wikipedia)
With its appearance, the Pe-8 was ahead of foreign aircraft of a similar class in many respects. British heavy bombers: Wellington (Vickers Wellington), Stirling (Short Stirling), Halifax (Handley Page Halifax, Handley Page Halifax) and Lancaster (Avro Lancaster) were inferior to the Pe-8 in maximum range and altitude ; the German Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor was inferior to the Pe-8 in all respects; American heavy long-range bombers: Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and Consolidated B-24 Liberator in the pre-war period were inferior to the Pe-8 in most parameters.
In memory of the outstanding designer V.M.Petlyakov, all TB-7 aircraft received the designation Pe-8.
At the beginning of 1945, production of the Pe-8 was discontinued.
15 years later, it was the Tupolev Design Bureau under the leadership of IF Nezval, who "stuffed" the FAB-5000 into the Pe-8, that would receive the task of placing the "202" thermonuclear bomb with a capacity of 100 megatons in the Tu-95 bomb bay. (That is to say, They have stuffed what cannot be stuffed.)

(Initially supplied with an empty bomb bay with the expectation that users will load the bombs of their choice themselves (the bomb bay is initially open, you can close it during takeoff))
Top speed:
near the ground: 347 km / h

Maybe more.
This plane took a lot of my time, so don't regret upvote
