General Information

The Lf-972 is a supersonic multirole jet interceptor designed to be able to achieve extreme speed in little time. It was designed to intercept AWACS aircraft as electronic warfare became an issue in the Battle for Maywar, its ability to climb to altitudes up to 55,000 feet made it perfect for interception. It also showed its use in ground attack when enemy troops landed at Maywar. The Lf-972 is globally known as an interceptor. The only thing it lacked was maneuverability, which showed its importance when a group of 6 Lf-972s were sent on an air-to-air combat mission and only 2 of the 6 returned.
