The B-202 "Double Take" is an early Cold War-era nuclear deterrence strategic bomber. What makes the B-202 distinct from other aircraft of the type was its all-electric propulsion, in the form of 12 massive electric motors driving propellers, powered by ultra-efficient solar panels covering the wings. Despite the sizeable power packs, the B-202 was limited by low speeds and poor service ceiling, making it less than successful as a deterrence system. Regardless, the aircraft did still see use in reconnaissance, research, and a stellar career as an AWACS platform, served well by its virtually unlimited endurance.
This aircraft carries a conventional payload.
CONTROLS:
AG1+VTOL: Bomb bay
AG1-3: Bomb groups 1-3
AG4-7: Drop bomb group 1-3
WARNING: do not drop bombs unless the prior bomb group has been used beforehand. The aircraft WILL explode.
This aircraft has been sitting incomplete in my save files for ages, and while there are certainly things that are missing that I will only notice after posting, one of which I may have just remembered... I am still proud to release this thing.
Consider it my celebratory craft for reaching silver after almost 5 years with this account (and even longer for playing SimplePlanes)
All of us at Graingy would like the thank you for your patronage, and hope that you will find our products satisfactory.
After all, Daren Sesame didn't endure those Red Scare blacklists just for us to screw up his legacy (He was totally guilty though).

And it took a year/less than a year to reach Gold.

@Boeing727200F This thing isn't a flying battleship. If you spray it with an autocannon then yes, it will be shredded. The same is true for virtually every other plane ever made.
SimplePlanes is not conductive to making survivable airframes.
@Graingy this bomber is so easy to shoot down, with a single jet and guns I turned this into a flying wing with 75% of its engines down. You need to add more armor or make it harder to shoot at

@Graingy For Now I Will Call it the B-36 'MAX' (NO MCAS)
@AirJMCAviation The B-36, which inspired this aircraft, had 168 cylinders and only 6 engines (granted, said engines were very, very large). If it weren't for this thing being (canonically) electric, the maintenance crews would probably hang themselves.

The rubber joysticks are totally intentional and are a very advanced feature
