AICHI 3DA-2 Akagi {299 parts}

61.2k Sergio666  2.2 years ago

Hello comrades, today I have finished this work, the AICHI 3DA, with some edited variables.
I learned a lot about this plane, because I found its operational history quite interesting. It was a somewhat obsolete plane at the beginning of the second world war, but the skills of the Japanese pilots made this plane a feared dive bomber, participating in several campaigns military, such as the attack on Pearl Harbor. They also used it later as a fighter, due to its reliable performance. And its attacks included significant sinking of important ships.
As I did not expect to have so many comrades required in tags, I decided to explain a few things.
I'm not an expert in Overcharge language, but I usually edit some things
I use the expression "SwitchInput" to not use the AG buttons, in this plane I used it in the closing of the canopy.
I use the variables for the engine ignition procedure, and something new that I did different from other planes of mine, was the idle of the propeller, but that does not affect the acceleration or the top speed of the plane, only when it is at 0 % acceleration.

Important

To start the engine, touch the first 4 levers in order, then press the fuel pump, and then the three buttons in order.

For an optimal takeoff, you can help yourself by lowering the trim level (Flaps)

For a Dive Bomb, I recommend slowing down by climbing and deploying the brakes, and watch the angle and speed of the plane as the bomb can collide with you.

Also. To say that it has quite a lot of wing lift, and low-altitude flights and landings should not be a problem.

I hope in the future to learn language for pitch angles, because until now I have done many tests with col and com, until I get an acceptable maneuver

I still consider that it lacks details, such as the rear gunner and more interior details, but I wanted to stay true to 300 parts, since my device does not last much longer.
I hope you like it, and thank you very much for the support and motivation to continue building, because I am not a well-known player in this large community, but I love Sp and I really enjoy building and learning from other players, Greetings to all, comrades! !

Comrade, block that user, we are here to build and enjoy, and this user I think did not have that purpose, I will delete his comments, because I am tired of his comments on my publication, with respect to you, comrade, because you deserve all my respects, for your great work and your contribution to this community, greetings @ShinyGemsBro

@Viperonursix You not appreciating an opinion from others just makes you look like an ingrate and close-minded when I'm saying truths. Sergio makes builds that are near accurate in terms performance and size. Mistakes happen here and there and the case of his Barracuda being agile for an attack plane is an example.
    .
He won't make a 9G B-52 that can outmaneuver and outrun fighters. He can if he wanted to. But this is about builds being almost historically and operationally identical to the real thing.
    .
If you wanted this dive bomber to be more maneuverable, do it yourself and modify the elevators to have a higher deflection angle so it would suit your needs. Creators won't answer the minority requests most of the time unless it's really needed or what the majority asks for is absurd.
    .
I shouldn't need to explain to you since you look like you're smarter than how you present yourself with your argument. But from the looks of things, seemed like I had to. Don't take it as me berating your intelligence because of your response.
    .
You want an F-14 in generic black and red paintjob? YOU make an F-14 in that said black and red paintjob. I don't know what you need specifically, and I don't do requests. It's just a recolor you wanted? There's a shit ton of Tomcats on the site. Dig through them, find what you want, give it a new coat of paint, call it a day.

@Viperonursix I could care less about your appreciation to a reply. I said what I needed to say, and it was a direct answer. I didn't need to repeat when it's already clear that dedicated dive bombers were never maneuverable at all. This build reflects that, and is accurate.
    .
    Let's end it at that.

Of course, comrade, I am not very expert in this type of fuselages (they usually have complicated shapes), but I have never built a replica. Right now I'm building a su 27, hopefully I can do it with vector boost, and my next project will be a stealth plane. @xNotDumb

It is true that my barracuda is more maneuverable, but in its description I put that it is not entirely realistic for that same reason, the maneuver

@Viperonursix Dedicated dive bombers were never maneuverable in the first place. This is accurate.

Very good aircraft. Looks very realistic and I LOVE the dive bomb feature. Please make a SBD Dauntless. The one thing I don’t like is that it is not very maneuverable. Please make It more maneuverable. But amazing plane overall.
