LAT-1 (Light Advanced Trainer-1; NATO reporting-name: "Lioth"), next generation of subsonic trainer plane produced by Valkyria to help pilots bridge from propeller plane to jet plane. The Mark II released in hope that it will save the company from bankruptcy, a huge improvement come in this series. Mk.II including improvement of engine which resulting in a maximum speed of 555 mph (increase of 70% more power). Installed also a brand new full glass cockpit (credit to @Sarpanitu). Flaps technology implemented to make it easier for pilots to maintain level. Flight safety instruments such as navigation and landing lights are now installed. All of those changes made, but the characteristics of high stability and agile are conserved. STOL capability is improved, in Mk.I pilot need to reach 105 mph to take off, in Mk.II pilot only need to reach 90 mph to be able to take off (not including the usage of flaps). This capability will surely make it a good trainer for future advanced carrier-based airplanes. Installed with parachute for shorter landing capability and a generous amounts of landing lights to help landing in unfavorable conditions (heavy fog, night day), it's never been this easy to land with jet plane. It can even land on USS Tiny.
