The Scalpel is an effective fighter developed by Wright as a direct competitor to the Kaichi that Krakabola fielded. Wielding superb maneuverability and hard hitting capabilities, the aircraft quickly became a nightmare against bombers and fighters alike.

Created by SAC (Smiths Aircraft Company) the Scalpel was intended as a super maneuverable fighter ever since its creation. Taking its maiden flight in 1937 the Scalpel was fielded by Wright up until the end of the war with some models being sold to other nations.
