History
In 1943, Yakovlev proposed an aircraft, with 2 engines in a push-pull configuration, trying to make a fast bomber, with 2 engines but less drag.
Only a prototype was build, since a conventional bomber was better in every way.
Yakovlev tried to make an interceptor with the Yak-12 airframe, but it was also inferior to conventional fighters, which resulted to be faster, less complex and more manoeuvrable.
It was eventually scrapped.
The controls are conventional.
