Supermarine Cyclone PR MkVII (Fictional) (Derived from DeezDucks 's Spitfire XIX)
(Yet again another development from @DeezDucks' s Spitfire XIX. Check out his page for awesome replicas and aircraft) The Supermarine Cyclone MKVI proved to be a very potent design. Though outclassed by later jet developments, it did not stop Supermarine from further developing the Cyclone design to be of further use for the RAF. One of the requirements of the RAF was for a high altitude, high speed Photo Reconnaisance aircraft which was capable of climbing higher and flying faster than any aircraft. By 1951, they redesigned the MKVI Airframe by equipping it with a 3rd engine. They also re-arranged the landing gear configuration which, the plagued the design throughout it's service History. The Result is the Cyclone PR Mk VII. Capable of reaching altitudes of up to 75000 ft. and speeds of up to 730 mph. This plane was the swan song of the piston engined recon aircraft era. Unfortunately, only 18 were ever produced and was too late to see service over Korea. It only had 4 sorties under it's belt before they were all scrapped during it's retirement in 1954.
