FlightArms GA-3A Strike Drone
FLIGHTARMS GROUND ATTACK 3A LONG RANGE STRIKE DRONE
The FlightArms GA-3A Strike Drone, also called the GAEA Attack Drone, is an armed UAV used for combat operations regarding reconnaissance, surveillance, scouting, light Close Air Support, and it's main role, attack sorties.
The Gaea drone is a complete overhaul and improvement of it's previous iteration, the G-3, which, in it's early years, provided quite decent results in testing and actual combat use. As time went by, demand for counter-insurgency in countries that have such concerns increased. They desired cheap, but effective and efficient weapons to be used for such roles, and so the G-3 Strike Drone was made, the predecessor of the Gaea
Though it was made to fulfill COIN roles alone, this drone has proved that it can do quite more than what it was originally created for. Flightarms phased the G-3 production out and made total overhauls from existing undelivered drones that were still in the factories. Many of these overhauled models were delivered to armed forces that showed interest in them, and 9 out of 10 reported back with excellent reviews.
Evaluating countries eventually shared their reviews and soon enough, countless orders were made by many armed forces all over the world. With the help of advisors from leading aviation and arms companies, The GAEA Strike Drone was born, and is the leading export of the FlightArms Defense and Combat company, the second being the F-39 Global Fighter Jet, also known as the Pigpen B
A unique feature of the Gaea combat drone is that it is a Carrier-Capable UAV. It's aerodynamics allow it to rapidly decelerate, so the use of airbrakes is unnecessary. It also comes equipped with a tailhook to further help in it slowing to a stop on touchdown. The Tactical Forces Navy has 350 Gaea drones on order, with 24 already delivered.
