A-24C Mulefoot AWACS
The A-24C Mulefoot AWACS is a 2 engine, 2 pilot, rapid deployment AWACS(Airborne Early Warning and Control) aircraft. It was created to be an early warning aircraft that can be rapidly deployed during the early stages of a conflict while being close to the frontlines. Armed with both air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, the Mulefoot can defend itself from both aerial and ground threats. The Mulefoot is also equipped with a Gatling-style auto canon with high-explosive rounds nicknamed the “Eraser”, which can be used to aid ground forces with close-air-support. Beware, the recoil of the “Eraser” can and will cancel-out you velocity if not fired in controlled bursts.
Controls
-AG 1 & 2: refueling probe(to extend, 1 then 2. To retract, 2 then 1)
-AG 3: arm main gun
-AG 4: arm weapons
-AG 7: open cockpit
-AG 8: Nav. lights
-Trim: trim
-VTOL: flaps
It is recommended to have full flaps and trim and 75% throttle for take off. Due to the offset front landing gear, when rolling down the runway during takeoff the aircraft likes to turn to the right. To counteract this, just slightly yaw left until you are going straight. To jettison your armaments during an emergency, enter the cockpit view, press and hold the “Jett. WPN” button for 3+ seconds.
