Back, I guess?

Well, kind of. I haven't posted anything in a month, and my build time's been severely reduced due to academic stuff.

But then again, I never actually left the site, so who knows? I'm not the type to post goodbye forums anyway.

Anyway, this is a quick livery I made a couple of days ago because I wanted something to drive around Normandy (which is a really good place for road trips), so it's not much really.

Meanwhile, the Wright Meteorite, my fictional WW2 jet bomber, is almost done! I'll likely post a teaser video within the next week.

About hitchTaxi

hitchTaxi (stylised as hitch.) is a private taxi company headquartered in Wright City in the Republic Of Cursed Planes. It is currently the country's largest taxi company by market share, with a fleet of 1.2 million vehicles and an annual gross revenue of R$95.8 million.

The company was founded by Nancy Raul in 1988 as Hitch Taxis. Starting off with a fleet of 500 Toyota Crown Comfort taxis, Hitch grew rapidly over the following decades and eventually acquired several other taxi companies.

Hitch experimented with a rewards system known as hitchPoints in 2007, where customers would be mailed vouchers if they rode 500km within a month. The system became extremely popular, and the government endorsed it in 2010 in line with their "Car-Lite 2035" programme.

In 2013, Hitch, now rebranded to hitch. ,started to expand into private-hire vehicles. To manage its different services, including standard taxis, luxury taxis and private-hire vehicles, hitch. launched its superapp the same year, gaining 155,000 downloads in 6 months.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, taxi revenue was hit hard. Apart from scaling down operations, hitch. launched its hitchDelivery service, utilising its passenger taxis to transport essential goods like food and masks.
