About TAM:

TAM Linhas Aéreas was a Brazilian airline that operated both domestic and international flights. It was founded in 1976 and quickly became one of the largest airlines in Brazil, with a reputation for safety, reliability, and high-quality service.

TAM operated a modern fleet of aircraft, including Airbus A320s, A321s, and A330s, as well as Boeing 777s and 767s. It also had a strong presence in the Brazilian market, serving more than 60 destinations across the country.

In addition to its domestic operations, TAM also had an extensive network of international flights, with destinations throughout North and South America, Europe, and Africa. It was a member of the Star Alliance, a global airline network that includes some of the world's largest airlines.

In 2015, TAM merged with Chilean airline LAN to form LATAM Airlines Group, which is now the largest airline in Latin America. While the TAM brand no longer exists, its legacy as a pioneering Brazilian airline lives on in the LATAM group.
