Developed to a United States Army Air Corps requirement, the P-38 had distinctive twin booms and a single, central nacelle containing the cockpit and armament. Named "fork-tailed devil", the P-38 was used in a number of roles, including interception, bombing, ground-attack, night fighting, reconnaissance, and extensively as a long-range escort fighter.

New to cockpit views but check it out and see what you think. Also if you want a link to the mobile version, let me know in comments.

well sometimes pilots would crawl onto the wing and jump off the wing to prevent hitting the elevator

  • Profile image

They weren’t really thinking when they put the elevator directly behind the cockpit pilots would have to roll the plane and then jump out

Major joint inconsistency involving wing connection. If you are to remove the piece on the left side of the rearmost position of the wing root it removes the wing and the engine. The right side is much tougher. Everything behind that point and at that point up until the last two parts should be elongated. But otherwise it is perfect, I could never do better @maverickvii
