Notice! This specific build is not accurate to all designs, refrences, or images. This build is also not proportional or accurate in terms of capability. The AIM-9X Sidewinder was developed by Raytheon Missiles and Defense in 1999 and is still used as one of the main weapons in the United States Air Force to date. The Sidewinder particularly excels in short-range strategic dogfighting and can pull up to 60 G's of force, making it very maneuverable. Each unit has a price tag of about $380,000 US, making this missile relatively cheap compaired to the AMRAAM, which can be as expensive as $1,000,000. To use, grab pylon and save as a sub-assembaly.
