KSS Blohm (LHA-18), is an amphibious assault ship and the lead ship of the Blohm Class amphibious assault ship. She was the built for the Royal Equestrian Navy, and currently operated by the Royal Sovereign Navy.

According to sources, Blohm's design was a re-drawn versions of the earlier Arnold Schwertven Class. They tend to further replace the aging Seewarter Class which was decommissioned four years before the commissioning of Arnold Schwertven. Blohm's main purpose is to maximize amphibious supports.

Development

Arnold Schwertven, the lead ship of her class, was commissioned in November 8 2075. She was built under the Marineorden von 2070 as part of Equestrian Government's plan to modernize the Royal Equestrian Fleet. It was debated whether an entirely new different concept will be made or use an existing design to alter it's purpose. The debate however did not last long and both sides agreed to re-design the earlier Arnold Schwertven Class.

Blohm was a redrawn versions of Arnold Schwertven although in terms of length, a minor difference can be seen. Their main strong point is the men they carried and their mixed type of aircrafts they carried.

Landing Helicopter Assault is one of the types of Amphibious Assault Ships. Their purpose is to project power and maintain presence by serving as the cornerstone of the amphibious ready group or expeditionary strike group.

The role of Landing Helicopter Assault in Great Country doesn't differ from the Seven Continents. With the men they carry, the aircrafts they have onboard, and being the center command of the Amphibious Assault, LHAs were the most important vessels in an Amphibious Assault Groups aside the Bombardment Vessels. Apart from their very important role, they tend to support humanitarian missions.
