Race-sailboat Lazer
1,522 SlowSailor
4.1 years ago
Simple and small racer for winds between 10 and 20 mph. They are around 4,5 m in RL so this one is a bit bigger for stability reasons.
Controls
Roll: Stearing (rudder)
Pitch: Sail (up)
VTOL: Dead weight that's 'alive' to left and right
To start
10 mph wind is the easyest and I propose you start with that. When ypu start just loose your sail and wait until you've made some speed. Then turn the dead weight to the hight side and pull your sail in. It takes some practice but the joystick-function makes it really fun.
