The Dmitriev X-14 ultralight was designed and built in the USSR in the 1970s. Due to the small wingspan, it required a variety of lift-increasing devices, and a very powerful engine (for its size) to get off the ground.

Due to the limited documentation on this aircraft, I was unable to find very detailed blueprints, so I had to add some things to make it somewhat realistic (control panel, throttle, fuel tank).

Controls:
VTOL - Flaps
Trim - Trim
AG1 - Start Engine
Roll (when on ground) - Yaw

Enjoy!

Note: When banking, try not to roll too aggressively, otherwise the aircraft could respond by rolling in the other direction.

There’s something about flying this in VR that is just so satisfying.

Thank you! It was very hard to find detailed pictures because so little information about this aircraft exists. @Oculite1

@bruhmoment99 OK found it :) Thanks again for adding that, this has become one of my favourite ultralight aircraft in SPVR, you really feel like you're up there with the birds.
I was looking at some photo's and blueprints of the X-14 online and your build looks pretty authentic.

Nice ultralight, challenging but great once you get the hang of it. Does it have around 15 minutes worth of fuel ? It cuts out on me mid flight and I have to glide her down, it's done that a few times now.
Looks and flies great in VR by the way :)

    This is pretty good!
Couple of things before I curate it though, the cockpit camera is rather high, reaching the throttle is quite a stretch. For the best camera height, make the base of the camera 0.75 metres above the base of the seat. Also I reccomend moving it forward by 0.125 since my body is kinda in the backrest lol
Another thing that's less important, the seat and propeller have emissions, which is kinda weird at night lol. And it would be nice if the flap and trim levers were labelled

Other than those, this plane is really cool! :D
