DC-10 is a three engine mid range wide body passenger aircraft developed by Douglas Corporation (later merged with McDonald Douglas Corporation, abbreviated as McDonnell Douglas Corporation) in response to the needs of American aviation. It is also used for military purposes and has now ceased production.DC-10 has less passenger capacity than B747, and its voyage is similar to that of Boeing 747. It can fly both routes across the United States and International flight. The development plan was launched after the merger of Douglas and McDonald in 1967.
